Director's Message

Greetings! It is a new day at Fayetteville Area System of Transit.  We recently made a major upgrade to our FAST system with the opening of our new downtown FAST Transit Center.  On behalf of our FAST staff we invite you to visit the new center and also try some of the new more convenient bus services.

We continue to strive to make public transit a more convenient option for you to use.

FAST buses and FASTTRAC! vans now operate seven days per week. Yes, that includes Sunday service.  You can plan your trip using our Google trip planner located at or track your bus in real-time on a computer or smart phone with the TransLocRider app.

I am also excited to introduce Tyffany Neal, FAST’s new Assistant Director.   We are pleased to welcome Tyffany back to North Carolina after working a few years in the Washington, DC area.  She had previously worked in Chapel Hill and Greensboro.

Our mission is to provide safe, efficient, effective, reliable, courteous, and innovative public transportation to the citizens of Fayetteville.

We look forward to serving you!

Randy Hume
Director, Fayetteville Area System of Transit
